The drive\u2019s exterior is made with a zinc casing and waterproof to four\u00a0feet, while the interior components are encased in a tamper-evident epoxy seal for physical security. IronKey D300 employs digitally signed firmware, making it immune to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ironkey.com\/en-US\/solutions\/protect-against-badusb.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">BadUSB<\/a> malware, and it enforces complex password protocol to prevent unauthorized access. Encryption and decryption is done on the drive with no trace left on the host system and the drive locks down and reformats after 10 invalid attempts.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1476458872699_195336\" class=\"yiv6299204804MsoNormal\"><span id=\"yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1476458872699_195335\" lang=\"EN-US\"><\/span><span id=\"yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1476458872699_195330\" lang=\"EN-US\">IronKey D300 Managed requires <a href=\"https:\/\/datalocker.com\/ems\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">IronKey EMS<\/a> by <a href=\"https:\/\/datalocker.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">DataLocker<\/a><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">,<\/span>\u00a0which allows central management of drive access and usage across drives. IronKey EMS can be either cloud-based or on premises.
