CTL\u00a0announced the new rugged 11.6” Windows Flip 360 Degree Tablet. This new laptop – said to be ideal for educational settings – features a 360-degree hinge to convert easily between laptop and tablet mode.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The CTL EG2 Rugged Windows Flip 360 Tablet<\/a>\u00a0supports Windows 10 and runs on Intel Celeron Processor N3000. The shock-resistant design has been IP5X certified for dust resistance and drop tested up to 70cm on a concrete floor. The fanless design reduces noise and improves durability.<\/p>\n

“The CTL EG2 is a rugged and versatile device for education, healthcare and professional use. This device will provide a high quality Windows solution for mobile professionals and students,” said Erik Stromquist<\/span>, CTL’s president.<\/p>\n

Other features\u00a0include: 11.6” screen size;\u00a01366 x 768 screen resolution with 5-point capacitive touch;\u00a0Intel Celeron Processor N3000 (up to 2.08 GHz);\u00a02GB DDR3 RAM;\u00a02.5” 7mm SATA\/SSD (supports 320GB\/500GB);\u00a0WiFi 802.11 b\/g\/n 2×2;\u00a0Bluetooth 4.0;\u00a01x USB 2.0;\u00a01x USB 3.0;\u00a01x Micro SDHC;\u00a01x HDMI; and\u00a01x Combo audio jack.<\/p>\n

The CTL EG2 will be available with Intel Education Software including McAfee AntiVirus Plus\/Mobile Security, Intellisense Lab Camera, SPARKvue, ArtRage, Intel Education Access Management, and Intel Education Media Camera, among others.<\/p>\n
