Telecoms and digital services provider PLDT, through its Information and Communications Technology (ICT) subsidiary ePLDT, expanded its suite of IT security solutions to provide enterprises with protection against cyber attacks.<\/strong><\/p>\n

ePLDT Managed Security Solutions (MSS) is designed to deliver protection at various entry points of attack, be it through web, mobile, email or applications.\u00a0 The suite offers a spectrum of security solutions –\u00a0firewall, IPS, anti-virus, anti-spam, anti-bot, and SSL inspection \u2013 that,\u00a0combined with\u00a0the\u00a0 infrastructure of the VITRO Data Center network and its pool of experts as well as tech support personnel, empowers enterprises to reduce and manage cyber attack risks.<\/p>\n

According to ePLDT, this offering comes at a very opportune time.\u00a0 Research conducted by Kaspersky Lab showed that the Philippines is among the top 50 countries most attacked by malware such as Trojans, worms and viruses.\u00a0 Cybercrime, which includes hacking of online account information and other data theft, has also become an increasingly growing occurrence.\u00a0 With this spate of cyber security threats, it has become imperative for enterprises to employ solutions to mitigate and prevent breaches within their IT systems.<\/p>\n
